Kano

Sits at the edge of the Sahara and is the oldest town in West Africa.  Most of the city walls have crumbled but one set of city gates still stand and the mosque (outisde only) and emir plaace are worth visiting.

Cross River National Park

Has a rainforest conservation area which is home to buffalos, chimpanzees, leopards, gorillas and elephants.  there are also some carved monoliths believed to be monuments to the ancestors.

Yankari National Park

Is very good for birdwatching.
