Getting There

By Air

Air France and Brussels air fly to Guinea.  Plus there are connecting flights from New York via Dakar.
The main international airport is Conkary (CKY) about 15 kmfrom the city. Taxis are available into the city.

By water

When water id high enough there is a ferry to Mali.  Services to Sierra Leone have been suspended due to the civil war.

By Road

There are links with Mali, Cote D'Ivoire and senegal, although unrest often means these borders are closed ior dangerous.  Click here for up to date safety advice

Getting Around

By Air

There are some internal flights betwen major towns but services are erratic.

By road

Most roads are in poor condition, and become impasable in wet weather. driving at night is not reccommended.
