• Take only photographs, leave only footprints.  Standard travel advice but perhaps the most important of all
• Never corner or trap an animal, the response is unpredictable
• when vieiwing keep noise to a minimum, loud noises, voices music etc will upset animals
• do not attempt to attract the attention of the wildlife through imitating noises.
• Stick to the roads and designated tracks, driving off road causes erosion and destabilises habitat.
• Do NOT litter.  again a basic for anywhere in the world,but in this case potentially life threatening to brids and animals.
• If you must smoke please only do it in the restcamps, and make sure cigarettes are fully extinguished. Winters and dry and some bush fires are a constant risk.
• Do not alight from your vehicle, except in rest camps and designated areas.
• Whether walking or driving, LISTEN to your guide, they are trained experts.
• If you ar going on a safari always make sure the comany and guides are registered to ensure you have the best possible experience
