Chad: Places To Visit

Chad is recovering from civil war (as with many African countries), tourism is slowly increasing in importance.  There is plenty to see and do, but getting there, getting around and safety on the ground make travel difficult and dangerous.

N'Djamena:

National Museum has a collection of Sahr culture dating back to the ninth century.

Zakouma National Park has recently been restocked by the government and EU.

Lake Chad is definitley worth a visit, formerly the largest inland lake it is now shrinking.  August to December is the best time to visit
