BergenzSituated at the tip of Bodensee (lake Constance) Bergenz is often a stopover point for people on there way to Switzerland or Southern Germany. The Bergenz Festival takes place annually from mid July to mid-August, the hightlioght of which is a performance by the Vienna Symphony orchestra. many performances take place on a floating stage on the Bodensee. Operas, exhibitions, and concerts make up the main part of the festival. FeldkircheIs a pleasant town often bypassed by tourists. The Domkirche St Nikolaus is a good attraction, and the two market squares of Neustadt and Marktgasse, the rae is bounded by medieval gates and towers. Both James Joyce and Arthur Conan-Doyle spent time in the town. The Silvretta HochalpenstrasseDuring the summer months, seven daily buses head south from Schruns to tackle the Silvretta Hochalpenstrasse, a scenic mountain road that ascends to the Silvretta Reservoir and Bielerhöhe Pass at the southeastern end of the Montafon Valley. From the summit of the pass, it's possible to catch connecting services that descend into the Paznaun Valley towards Landeck in the Tyrol. For spectacular sceery it is a must.
