Andorra Travellers Guide: Places to Visit

Andorra La Vella

The capital city and largest town, situated at over 1000 metres and surrounded by mountains many of which are over 2400 metres.  It has a 12th Century church which is worth visiting.

Escaldes-Engordany

is 18 km from the capital and has some good examples of Romanesque architecture.

El Serrat

is a tiny hamlet with some of the most breathtaking views in the country.

Many of the small hamlets and villages have colourful festivals and celebrations during August and September, celebrating regional saints and martyrs.
